The US-based Nigerian businesswoman and Managing Director of Over the Top Consulting believes age 60 is really a big one as no one has ever attained it by hurrying, but a privilege bestowed on favoured individuals by God’s grace.

The crowd that assembled at her 60th birthday celebration on Sunday, September 1, 2024, truly glittered as they shared memories, laughter, and even a few tears. It was a splurge of festivities at the Ashyana Banquet in Downers Grove, Illinois, where family members, friends, and professional colleagues gathered to celebrate with her on this landmark birthday.

She was praised to high heaven while encomium and tributes poured in torrents for the woman many described as a candle in the dark for many.

The Yeye Bobajiroro of Awori-Ota kingdom, a humble and unassuming woman that has no airs around her is ever willing to give her shoulders to anyone to lean on in moments of need.

Indeed, those whose paths have crossed hers always affirm that the Lagos State-born entrepreneur sure understands the true meaning of friendship and has made huge sacrifices at different times to keep the sanctity of friendship as humanly possible.

The fashionable mother of three has been identified as one woman who is committed to the service of humanity and one who has invested with seriousness the words of the famous English writer, John Bunyan, who said: ‘’You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”

It is, therefore, no surprise that her contributions towards the growth of the society have been recognised many times.

Apart from being a serial entrepreneur, she has worked in several organisations, including the University of Chicago Hospital, Bolingbrook Women’s Clinic and Athletico Physical Therapy, among others.

Fashina, a graduate of Healthcare Management and Hospitality Management from Triton College, Illinois, worked with United Bank for Africa before relocating to the US over two decades ago. She also attended Triton College, River Grove Illinois Computer Science and Westwood College among other institutions.
