You appropriated an Igbo name to spew apata here.
]]>You full of Canadian spice. Allow Nigerians to own guns. We can't even negotiate our differences without punches and swearing, we can't feed ourselves, we yet to resolve our energy crisis, we yet to police our borders and protect citizens. And you here clamouring for guns. Ok oooo, keep blazing your bazooka spice.
]]>Correction.
You can't have your cake and eat it.
Munafik-nitwit,
I am obliging you with a new appelation. Now thank me for enriching your vocabulary.
Not that I should have, you know, since there has been no change in your scrabbling to indicate that you deserve new descriptions.
See why I say that you are mystified? You honestly believe that there are more Turji’s in the Seast do you?
Ngwanu, keep believing that, and motor on your roads between Katsina and Sokoto, or from Abuja to Kaduna.
S’oko, I said to up your game.
This is becoming inane.
Mr. runaway teacher, it appears like ”Fula cretin” and ”Munafik” are the only invectives you have left. Nothing new? As for Bello Turji, there are more of his ilk in Orlu, Ihiala and Okigwe than elsewhere. At the least, in the North and West, soldiers are fighting back. In the SE? Pity, part reason you can’t go home, assuming you could afford the airfare.
]]>Thank Allah it is not up to you.
You can keep running from reality until Bello Turji gets your worthless hide.
Your type will take advantage of someone and then claim that it’s their fault.
Imagine if the Niger Deltans you malign actually are able to prevent your access to their petrodollar; you’d be lying somewhere in wait for hapless travelers who you’d blame for being on the road.
Fula cretin
Mr. Stinky mouth, excusing your Ironsi and GEJ from messing Nigeria up is a failed enterprise. Political leadership at th apex level demands more than opportunity, the balls to do what must be done takes first priority, if you don’t have it, stay out of the fray. Mr. goody shoeless Jonathan, spineless like jellyfish, had no business playing President.
]]>Clown,
You can persist in your self delusion, but if you put it out in the ether, you will be disabused.
So, it’s not the fault of your elite, such an elite, oh Allah, that put forth such a man, and not the fault of your clerics and unreflective, theology sodden peasantry, for upholding your’Sai Baba’, its Goodluck’s fault that he didn’t allow himself become an Ironsi, is it?
Do you hear yourself, at all?
Toh ….. quite sad
]]>You were sounding ok until you started saying what balablu and his gang of thieves should do. Balablu paid for and the election was yakubu-ed for him. He does not give a hoot about yours or anyone“s recommendations
]]>Bokohari“s military records, exploits, integrity are the most faked thing that the country has ever produced. People that are close to him know bokohari as an ignoramus.
]]>Interestingly, the dam burst to the open and a sharp descent unto the abyss of “insecurity “ occurred under the Yar Adua presidency while Segun Adeniyi was the media aide, confidant and power broker in Aso Rock a decade a half ago . The Niger Delta insurgency ravaged the oil producing areas where militant warlords openly held sway decimating security forces and crippling oil production . As this was not enough the administration triggered another Boko Haram insurgency in the north east by extra judicial murder of a radical Islamic sect leader. Nigeria has not seen peace ever since with other offshoots heinous crimes like “ banditry “ and “ kidnappings “ taking off and ravaging citizens across the country . These problems easily overwhelmed the ill prepared and sickly Pres Yardua and the poor man succumbed to the pressures and passed way in office .
The same lack of preparedness to lead and incompetence trailed subsequent presidents including state governors. Jonathan remained soundly clueless for 5 yrs and was booted out of office especially based on the security tragedies of Boko Haram in the NE. Ditto for Buhari who exhibited the most incompetency of all despite his military background and overwhelming support to see him beat Jonathan out of Aso Rock . The man known as Jagaban and current president never claimed any background knowledge of anything and does not even pretend to be fighting the myriad of security challenges now taking its tool on the economy after consuming an abominable number of Nigerians .
The bottom line is the security challenges will continue and probably bury Nigeria as a viable country as long as the people continue to tolerate and install more incompetency as political leadership . The first and key responsibility of government is security . This require knowledge and competence in management. Regrettably it’s in these facilities that our politicians are at the lowest in all possessions!
]]>Nwanne,
One can hardly compare civitas in the US with that of Nigerarea with its disparate peoples and ethos. American citizenry may be armed, but it certainly cannot challenge the state, if it comes to it. A kid may shoot up a school, but certainly can’t bring down a government.
On the other hand, almost every serious insurrection in Nigerarea came about from the careless arming of youth for political purposes: from Borno, to Port Harcourt.
We simply have too many poor, desperate, fanatic, idle people for any deliberate arming of them not to end up worsening the situation.
Inadequate manpower, indeed! when they are busy dancing and smiling in the southeast. You just lied albeit using some hifulantin words. Nigerians nee Africans are not different and people are known to be forced to do the right things and the force is increasing.
]]>In case you do not know, Nigeria is under the gun because of agents of state capture. What happens at the end of each election cycle is that these recruited criminal elements retain their weapons which they use as bargaining chip against the state captors. Wondering why the so-called bandits keep collecting ransom without being apprehended? That is the game -payback!
So, it was not unlikely that those charged with security of the nation would focus on containing dissenting voices and perceived enemies of the state rather than fight the real enemies, the bandits/ Boko Haram. State capture is first and foremost for the service of interest of the captors.
Nothing really matters to state captors, except, self-preservation. Every other thing including the security of lives of the citizenry is immaterial. But the nation has a greater insecurity to contend with – food insecurity. This will surely test the will of state captors. Do they care??
But nothing spoil, as we say in the street parlance. Those who sow the wind will definitely reap the whirlwind!
