I disagree with your conclusion.
In Nigeria we do have our challenges, but as I have oft repeated on these backpages;
"…Nation Building is a Decades and Centuries Project…".
See for example Singapore (multi-ethnic), South-Korea (mono-ethnic) and Morocco (Mono-ethnic).
The good thing is that we are increasingly improving our Federation. See for example the progress achieved by recorded by Lagos State.

Restructuring does NOT mean War.
Only reforms that serve as cover/subterfuge for secession or threats to territorial integrity will lead to War.

The North wouldn't be your problem if your people, meaning Zik and the Igbo, had let them secede from Nigeria in 1954 as the Sarduana wanted.

See Southern Cameroons. Zik and the Igbo campaigned hard for them to remain in Nigeria in their 1964 Referendum. The people voted for secession and now they're dealing with whatever problems they have without bothering you.

In both cases, the North and the Southern Cameroons complained about one thing – Igbo domination.

The point is that Nigeria as a whole, not just the North, is well past the point of redemption. It's the typical result in a collective dominated by Negroes and Nigeria is the biggest such entity on this earth.

So there's worse to come. Look to Haiti or back to Liberia & Sierra Leone in the 1990s. Maybe Sudan if we're lucky. That's where Nigeria is headed, ALL of Nigeria. It's inevitable.
